1. Definitions

"Referral Program" means the GATAlife program described in these terms through which eligible users may receive subscription rewards by inviting new users to purchase a qualifying GATAlife subscription.

"Referrer" means an existing GATAlife user who shares a valid Referral Link with a prospective new user and who meets the eligibility requirements in Section 2.

"Referred User" means a person who is attributed to a Referrer under Section 3.3, creates a new GATAlife account, and purchases a Qualifying Subscription through a valid Referral Link.

"Qualifying Subscription" means a paid GATAlife subscription plan that GATAlife designates as eligible for the Referral Program. Free trials, complimentary access, gift access, promotional plans, bundle offers, enterprise-sponsored access, and any other plans that GATAlife excludes from time to time are not Qualifying Subscriptions unless GATAlife expressly states otherwise.

"Referral Reward" means seven (7) additional days of subscription access granted to both the Referrer and the Referred User after all Qualification Conditions in Section 3 have been satisfied.

"Qualification Period" means the seven (7) consecutive days immediately following the Referred User's purchase of a Qualifying Subscription.

"Referral Link" means the unique, personal, non-transferable link or code assigned by GATAlife to an eligible Referrer for use in the Referral Program.

"Attribution Window" means the period of time during which a Referral Link click or code entry is eligible to be associated with a subsequent Qualifying Subscription purchase, as described in Section 3.3.

2. Eligibility

2.1 Referrer eligibility

To participate as a Referrer, you must:

Have an active paid GATAlife subscription at the time the Referred User purchases a Qualifying Subscription.

Be in good standing, with no suspended, restricted, or terminated account.

2.2 Referred User eligibility

To qualify as a Referred User, a person must:

Be a new paying subscriber to GATAlife .

Not have previously purchased a GATAlife subscription, unless GATAlife expressly permits otherwise.

Create an account and purchase a Qualifying Subscription through a valid Referral Link within the Attribution Window.

Not be the same person as the Referrer.

2.3 Geographic and product availability

The Referral Program is available only where GATAlife offers paid subscriptions and where the Referral Program is lawfully available. GATAlife may restrict or disable the Referral Program in certain countries, territories, subscription plans, channels, or app versions at its discretion.

3. Referral Attribution, Qualification, and Rewards

3.1 Reward amount

If all Qualification Conditions in these terms are met, the Referrer and the Referred User will each receive seven (7) additional days of subscription access at no charge.

3.2 When a reward is earned

A Referral Reward is earned only after the Referred User has maintained a Qualifying Subscription in active paid status for the entire Qualification Period. No Referral Reward is earned at the time of click, sign-up, or purchase.

3.3 Attribution rule and Attribution Window

A Referred User may be associated with only one Referrer. If multiple referral links or codes are used, GATAlife will determine attribution based on the last valid referral link or code used before the Qualifying Subscription is purchased, unless GATAlife states otherwise in the product experience.

A Referral Link click or code entry is valid for attribution purposes only if the Referred User purchases a Qualifying Subscription within thirty (30) days of that click or entry (the Attribution Window). Purchases made outside the Attribution Window will not be attributed to a Referrer, regardless of the reason for the delay. GATA is not responsible for attribution failures that result from technical limitations described in Section 6.

3.4 Qualification Conditions

A Referral Reward will be granted only if all of the following conditions are satisfied:

(a) The Referred User purchases a Qualifying Subscription through a valid Referral Link attributed under Section 3.3 within the Attribution Window.

(b) The Referred User's Qualifying Subscription remains active, paid, and in good standing throughout the entire Qualification Period.

(c) The Referred User has not, at any point during the Qualification Period, initiated, scheduled, or completed a cancellation, refund request, chargeback, reversal, pause, or any other action that would cause the subscription to terminate or lose active status, whether the effect of that action occurs during or after the Qualification Period.

(d) The Referrer's account remains active and in good standing at the time the Referral Reward is issued.

3.5 Reward timing

Referral Rewards are generally applied within 48 hours after the Qualification Period ends, but processing may take longer in some cases. GATAlife does not guarantee that a Referral Reward will be applied at any specific time.

3.6 Reward application

Referral Rewards are applied as an extension of the recipient's current subscription access period — added to the end of the next active billing cycle or the current access period, as determined by GATAlife . Referral Rewards have no cash value, are non-transferable, may not be sold, and may not be redeemed for money, credit, or any other substitute value.

3.7 If a reward cannot be applied

If a Referral Reward cannot reasonably be applied because an account is terminated, restricted, ineligible, or no longer able to receive subscription access at the time of issuance, the Referral Reward is forfeited and will not be reinstated unless GATAlife decides otherwise.

3.8 Stacking and limits

Each successful referral may generate one separate Referral Reward for the Referrer and one separate Referral Reward for the Referred User. GATA may apply reasonable monthly, account-level, or program-level limits, delay rewards for review, or require manual verification to prevent abuse.

4. App Store and Third-Party Billing

4.1 Purchases through Apple App Store or Google Play

If a Referred User purchases a subscription through the Apple App Store or Google Play, that purchase is also subject to the applicable app store's billing terms and systems. GATAlife will determine eligibility for a Referral Reward based on the subscription status information reasonably available to it, including whether the subscription remained in paid active status throughout the Qualification Period.

4.2 Delays and verification limits

GATA may not receive real-time billing events or complete subscription status information from Apple, Google, or other billing providers. As a result, Referral Reward issuance may be delayed until GATA is able to verify that all Qualification Conditions have been satisfied.

4.3 Refunds, reversals, and store actions

If Apple, Google, or another billing provider issues a refund, reversal, chargeback, cancellation, or similar billing adjustment relating to the Referred User's purchase — whether initiated by the user or the provider — the referral may be disqualified retroactively and any Referral Reward already applied may be revoked or reversed to the extent permitted by law.

5. Permitted Sharing and Prohibited Conduct

5.1 Permitted sharing

Referrers are encouraged to share their Referral Link through organic, personal means, including direct messages to friends and family, personal social media posts (such as posts on Instagram, X, TikTok, or similar platforms), and word-of-mouth. Personal sharing of this kind is always permitted.

5.2 Disqualifying conduct

A referral will be disqualified, and any associated Referral Reward may be withheld, canceled, or revoked, if:

(a) The referral does not satisfy all Qualification Conditions in Section 3.

(b) The referral is a self-referral or involves the same person using multiple accounts, devices, payment methods, identities, or contact details.

(c) The Referred User previously purchased a GATAlife subscription, unless GATAlife expressly allows re-eligibility.

(d) The referral involves duplicate accounts, repeated sign-ups by the same individual, bulk account creation, or artificial account activity.

(e) The Referral Link is distributed through spam, unsolicited bulk messaging, automated posting, deceptive messaging, coupon or deal aggregator sites, paid advertising (including but not limited to search ads, social media ads, or influencer promotions), or any other channel that misrepresents GATAlife, impersonates GATAlife, or creates an unfair advantage.

(f) GATA determines, in its reasonable judgment, that the referral involves abusive, misleading, deceptive, or fraudulent activity.

5.3 Enforcement rights

GATAlife may investigate participation in the Referral Program and may limit, delay, withhold, revoke, or adjust Referral Rewards, or suspend or terminate accounts, where necessary to enforce these terms, prevent abuse, correct errors, or comply with law.

6. Tracking, Attribution Limits, and Technical Failures

GATAlife uses technical means — including referral link tracking and device-level attribution — to record referrals and attribute purchases. GATAlife is not responsible for any failure to record or attribute a referral correctly where that failure results from deleted cookies, disabled device permissions, private browsing or incognito mode, app reinstallations, outdated app versions, broken links, app store limitations, network errors, or other factors outside GATAlife's reasonable control. Users who believe a referral was not correctly attributed should contact GATA support promptly, as attribution corrections may not be possible after a reasonable period.

7. Program Changes and Termination

7.1 Changes to the Referral Program

GATAlife may modify, suspend, or terminate the Referral Program, or any part of it, at any time. This includes changes to eligibility rules, reward amounts, Qualification Periods, Attribution Windows, qualifying plans, attribution rules, and anti-abuse measures.

7.2 Effect on pending referrals

Unless GATAlife states otherwise, referrals that have not satisfied all Qualification Conditions before a change, suspension, or termination takes effect will not qualify for a Referral Reward.

7.3 Effect on completed referrals

Referrals that satisfied all Qualification Conditions before a change, suspension, or termination took effect will remain eligible for the applicable Referral Reward under the terms in effect at the time those conditions were satisfied.

8. Relationship to Other Terms

These Referral Program terms supplement GATAlife 's main Terms of Service. If there is a conflict between these Referral Program terms and the main Terms of Service, the main Terms of Service will control unless these Referral Program terms expressly state otherwise.

Participation in the Referral Program does not create any employment, agency, partnership, franchise, joint venture, or revenue-sharing relationship between you and GATAlife.

9. General

9.1 No guarantee of availability

GATAlife does not guarantee that the Referral Program will be available at all times, in all markets, or for all users, or that any particular referral will result in a Referral Reward.

9.2 Taxes

You are solely responsible for any taxes, duties, or similar obligations that may arise from your participation in the Referral Program, to the extent applicable under the laws of your jurisdiction.

9.3 Disputes

Any dispute relating to the Referral Program or any Referral Reward will be handled under the dispute resolution provisions of GATAlife's main Terms of Service, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

9.4 Privacy and data

GATA collects and processes certain data in connection with your participation in the Referral Program, including referral link activity and subscription attribution. This processing is described in GATAlife's Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these terms by reference.

User-Facing Summary

This summary is for convenience only and does not replace the full terms above.

Share GATAlife with a friend

Share your personal referral link. If your friend subscribes through your link within 30 days and keeps their subscription active for 7 days, you'll both receive 7 extra days of access — added to the end of your current subscription period.

Example

Your friend subscribes on May 1 and stays on an active paid subscription through May 8. Both of you receive 7 extra days, added to the end of whichever billing period you're each currently in.

A few things to keep in mind

Your friend must be a new GATAlife subscriber.

The 7-day clock starts from their purchase date, not their trial or sign-up date.

Rewards are applied automatically, usually within 48 hours after day 7.

Personal social sharing is welcome. Paid promotions and spam are not permitted.
